RestoraFAST® and RestoraLAX^® are both osmotic laxatives that work with the water in your body to relieve occasional constipation without the use of stimulants, and do not cause harsh side effects. They both work with the water in your body to hydrate and soften stools for gentle relief. The difference is, the two products have different active ingredients which provide relief at different times.

RestoraFAST^® is designed for quicker, yet still gentle, relief. It contains magnesium hydroxide, which provides fast relief in 30 minutes to 6 hours. It comes in a tasty, mixed berry-flavored soft chew.

RestoraLAX^® is a gentle laxative that helps produce a bowel movement in 1 to 3 days. It contains polyethylene glycol 3350 (PEG) and comes in a powder form that dissolves easily in any hot or cold beverage with no taste and no gritty texture.

Take RestoraFAST® when you want faster relief. It’s formulated for faster action, working in just 30 minutes to 6 hours—making it ideal for situations where quicker results are desired—while still providing the gentle relief you are looking for. 
Take RestoraLAX® if you prefer gentle relief within 1 to 3 days. RestoraLAX® is also ideal if a powder format is preferred, which can be mixed into any hot or cold beverage.

RestoraFAST^® soft chews can be taken daily, please refer to the dosing chart below for details.Do not take for more than one week unless directed by a health care practitioner.

RestoraFAST^® is made with magnesium hydroxide, which is the medicinal, active ingredient. Non-medicinal ingredients include: Berry flavour, Corn syrup, Corn syrup solids, Flavour, Glycerol, Hydrogenated coconut oil, Lecithin, Red 40 lake, Sucrose, Water

The total daily dose may be taken as a single daily dose or in divided doses as appropriate. Drink a full glass (250mL) of liquid with each dose. 
Children 4-6 years : 1 soft chew per day 
Children 6-12 years : 1-2 soft chews per day 
Adolescents and Adults 12 years and older : 2-4 soft chews per day.

There is no recommended time of day to take RestoraFAST^®, begin taking RestoraFAST^® at the first signs of constipation and take as directed until you experience relief. RestoraFAST® should not be taken within 2 hours of another medicine as the desired effect of the other medicine may be reduced.
